Dear Friends,

I’m excited to share with you the news that I am re-opening The Writing Pad.

This time in Tel Aviv, at the calming one-room Pa’amon in Florentine. Pa’amon is a studio for intimate cultural events, created by Inbal Giladi. Inbal, a former interior designer, is a gracious hostess and looks forward to having The Writing Pad become a regular at Pa’amon.

The place is located in an old industrial area near the Eliphelet stop on the light rail and has more than one parking lot nearby. There’s an elevator to the third floor venue for those who don’t want to climb fifty-nine stairs. Classes will be small, maximum ten- twelve participants.

I hope to offer monthly writing events throughout 2025 and 2026, except for October and November when I will be on a book tour in the US for my forthcoming, Bethlehem Road: stories of immigration and exile.

For information about the first workshop on Wednesday July 30th, please see the attached.

Feel free to share this email with friends relatives neighbors and pals in your writing or reading groups.  If you are a teacher of writing and plan to visit Israel in 2026, contact me if you’d like to teach a one-day workshop.

I look forward to seeing you at The Writing Pad at Pa’amon.

Wishing us all a creative year in all realms,

Judy
