If you were using a SafetyCloud account and then signed out of that account, then your data may be hidden from view, and you will be able to view it again once you log back into the SafetyCloud account you were using.
As for the other issues, you've mentioned, I will forward them to one of our engineers and will get back to you as soon as they have completed investigating this issue for you.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Haydee
Hello Richard,
1. So am I understanding this correctly that all my templates and audits are still physically on my ipad but because they are now "linked" to a safetycloud account you can't see them unless you are logged into that account?
Yes, they are hidden from view when you are not signed in to your SafetyCloud account but they are still on your device.
2. So if you were an independent working for several different companies you could log in and out of the respective safetycloud accounts and it would list only those associated with that account even though ALL of them are physically on the ipad? Basically the safetycloud account "filters" the list of templates and audits shown on the ipad?
Yes, it acts out as a filter.
3. Assuming the above is true. That means that "deactivating" and "reverse migrating" basically doesn't move any data (as it was always still on the ipad all along), it just "disassociates" the templates and audits from that safetycloud account. True?
Yes, it does disassociate the account from that data.
4. Did my template keep getting deleted because I wasn't the "author"? How does the sync handle "author" and "non-author" owned templates?
This should not be happening. I have forwarded this issue on to one of our iAuditor engineers and I will get back to you as soon as they are finished investigating this issue.
5. So the export settings/profile SHOULD have been migrated over too? Meaning the export button in my safetycloud account should generate a pdf looking exactly like the export on my ipad?
No, export settings are device-specific and is not yet available on SafetyCloud.
6. Deleting a template or audit. Regardless of whether it is deleted from the ipad or the safetycloud account, that will cause BOTH copies (ipad and cloud) to get permanently deleted. Correct?
Yes, regardless of where you delete it, doing this will remove both copies (SafetyCloud and iAuditor) of your data. Also, if you are sharing templates to other users, any user that delete a template will delete it for everybody, not just themselves.
Please let me know if you have more questions.Sincerely,Haydee

It was an iat file.I'm more concerned why my original copy was never migrated and was deleted right from the start. If no one else had it to export to me as an iat file I would have been in real trouble. Thanks
Richard
