Hello Madhu,

At this point, we don't have plans to release a platform compatible to Windows phone, but we might consider implementing it once the demand for it increases.

Let me know if you have questions.

Sincerely,
Haydee

We have a customer that loves that ipad version but are moving to the microsoft surface tablets and want to continue using iauditor on the surface.
Even if there was a "online webpage" version of the app would be great.
Please let me know if you decide to include microsoft products in the future.
Thanks
Lee

Hi Lethal,

We are going to provide browser based auditing through SafetyCloud in the weeks ahead. Provided an internet connection is maintained, they will be able to audit on Windows tablets through SafetyCloud.

Luke

Hi Lethal,

We don't have a Windows version coming, but we have seen some users using an app emulator to run varios apps on Windows devices.

iAuditor does work on the Samsung devices we have tried it on, however the map feature is not able to be used through the emulator.

Due to the vast range of Android manufacturers, you may find that certain devices are more problematic than others, so by all means come back here and let us know how you go.

Regards,
Luke

Hi Lethal,

Yes, we are working on making the desktop experience HTML5 compatible, but that feature is not ready for release just yet.

Kind regards,

Is there an update on this feature?

Hi Frank,

Thank you for contacting us regarding this. SafetyCloud will soon have the ability to conduct audits, meaning that an auditor can operate iAuditor completely from a desktop platform: all within their browser. I don't have a definite time frame for this as of yet but we will have more information as we get closer to releasing it.

Currently, we still don't have plans to develop iAuditor for Windows-based mobile devices. This may change in the future if demand were to increase, but not at this stage. This has been requested on our Features Request Page and please vote for this topic if you would like to request the feature.

You may also be able to run the Android version for Windows devices through a program such as Bluestacks although Google services such as Maps will not work within the app.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Haydee

Hi Haydee

I believe that if you rely on your existing iOS / Android customer base to gauge interest in windowsphone, you will never get a true reflection of your market demands...

I note that GeoOp have seen the light...

How about you guys?

I would say, that there are many companies out there (like me!) that trawl through looking for software for our staff and one of the first things we look for is your interest in windows phone. If that is found lacking, then we move on. It just so happens that there may be a great synergy for us with geoop and xero that might just be the answer we are looking for... but...

:)

Thank you for your feedback Guy! We recently released the ability to conduct an audit on Windows phones and tablets through SafetyCloud. This allows you to conduct an audit anywhere you have a constant internet connection. Whilst this experience isn't as flexible as a native app, we will continue to monitor the penetration of Windows devices in the workplace and are always considering new ways to empower more people.

Thank you for letting us know.

|Hi
I have recently implemented iAuditor into a team that I used to run, barring a few minor issues it was a great success. I have now moved to another firm and would really like to rollout iAuditor - the only problem is we are all on Windows phones. The web app will go some way - but the ability to use an app with out mobile connect is pretty vital (to the point we probably wont roll out...

So just putting my hand up - please release a windows phone version of the iAuditor app!

Thanks in advance!
