Would you consider adding a calculator with the sum being locked in to show the result?
Or add insert to paste in a excel spreadsheet calculation?

For me a function field would be also very helpful !!

Here I add my wish list:

1) often I need to write the description of the NC's it would be very helpful if I could create with
the template already some standard "NC's" to select later.
Example dimensions out of range; to great; to small ;
New NC description, should be add to the template

2) I often have to measure and keep the value in the report
It would be helpful if I could define the text fields as a number field, so the number keyboard should come up! The numerical vale should have a dimension like mm, Amper.....

3) often I have to compare the value measured
Example: the nominal power of an motor has to be -3%/+2% of 500W
Power measured is 512W, so the evaluation of this should be NC and in the description it should say Motor with 512W out of range (485W / 510W)

4) the result of the evaluation should be depending of the value in another numerical field and a simple math function like x = (y *2/3)+500

It's a very nice tool!!
Have a nice day!
Michael

Hello Michael and Thomas,

Thank you for your great suggestions. We will keep all of these in mind in one of our future development meetings. Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

Sincerely,

Will you be having an update to include a change so that when you fill the basic info to a template and complete a audit for a given site, you do not have to keep filling out the same basic info every time you visit the site again.   There are times I might visit the same site two or three times a week, and would like not to keep doing the same basic info all the time.

Hello 1safety2,

There is no option to automatically update the information section at the moment but we'll consider adding that feature in one of our future updates.

Please feel free to add all your requests to our wishlist page.

Sincerely,
Haydee

Hi Michael and Thomas

I'd just like to confirm we are looking to implement a number/formula field into iAuditor. Just so I get your user requirement correct, you're looking for a number field that can be subsequently put into a formula defined in the template editor, and an output at Audit time based on both that number field (and any others) and the formula?

Also Michael,
regarding your Motor Power Rating requirement. You may be able to do that now with a slider which could show the possible ranges of the motor output e.g. a range 450 - 550W, and an iAuditor Smart Field that can provide different outputs depending on whether that slider is "less than 485", "greater than 512". To put multiple logic conditions ensure that each of the Smart Fields is at the same indent level below your slider, and the action to be performed, one indent level lower. At the moment Smart Fields only show logical relationships when attached to sliders.

cheers
