Hi,

I'm using iAuditor on a Samsung Note 3 8" - Android Version 4.1.2.

After I've completed the 15 separate laundry inspections I'm required to perform, I look into the "Audits" list only to find 15 inspections with "No Audit Title". It makes it very difficult to pick one from another.

I've created new test templates, carefully populating the Template Title and also the Audit Title section, but no matter how I put the "Information Section" together, I cannot achieve a single audit that displays a title in the Audits list.

It may be pertinent to mention that the titles do appear in the exported PDF document.

I've read the knowledge base but there is nothing recent on this concern.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Could you please send a support email from within the app? This will generate your diagnostic data which will assist us in investigating this issue.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

Hi Dallas,

Thank you for contacting us. If your audits are appearing as "No Audit Title", this could be as a result of renaming the Audit Title field in the Information Section. There is a slight issue with the Android platform that causes the Audit Title field to lose it's special characteristics when it is renamed. This has now been rectified in 1.3.2, so please make sure that you have the latest version of iAuditor from the Google Play Store. Any renamed Audit Title fields should now appear correctly. If you have old audits that have a renamed Audit Title field, but still show up as No Audit Title, please open the audit by tapping on it, and then tap back to the Audits view (the back button on your device should take you back).

If there is anything else that I can assist with, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Kind Regards,
Taylor Young

Hello,

I'm having the same issue with No Audit Title. Im using the latest ver of iAuditor 1.3.5.

I do delete all but the Audit title from the header section as i dont need the information - could this be effecting the title?

(the audit Serco BPU Random Search; North Gate is on the library. Pass; SercoBPU)

I have tried not deleting any fields from the header section with a new audit, but the audit title is still No Audit Title.

Cheers.

Hi Kbm,

Thank you for contacting us.

I have conducted testing on this template from the Public library on both an iPad and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and both devices successfully carried the title that I entered into the Audit Title field. Please be aware that the Audit Title Field must contain some form of text in order to display a title in the Audits view of iAuditor. If your device is still not showing an Audit Title when there is text in the field, please take a screenshot of the Audit Title field with text in it, as well as sending a Diagnostic Email from your device. This information will help us to identify the cause of the issue for you.

There can be some issues with specific Android devices that are not present on devices from other manufacturers, and I would like to confirm that if this is the case, we can test this template with a device from the same manufacturer.

Hello,

I can enter text into the Audit Title field - and that carries over.

Is it possible to enter a default audit title in a template e.g. 'Monday Audit', that when i start a new audit,  the title is set, no text entry is required, and the title carries overs?  I'm creating audit forms that are short, but repeated over and over so the title is used to identify the audit, and how many, are complete.

Thanks for you help.

Hi Kbm,

Thank you for getting back to me and letting me know the outcome. At this stage there is not a capacity within iAuditor to have an automatically filled in Audit Title field. I have added this as a feature request for you, and you can add your vote to the topic here

If there is anything else that I can assist with, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks for the update.

I thought i would share my work-around in case other users are in the same boat. I''ve generated a simple barcode with the audit title, scan the barcode and the title is added. Simple.
It's very handy if you are doing a high number of short audits where typing in the title every time become time consuming.

Regards.

Hey did you ever find out how to do this, it's driving me crazy. I spent hours creating a 14 page report but each time I try to 'start a new audit', it just gives the generic name I gave to the report. I mean if I created 20 reports they would all have the same title??
I have gone round and round in circles and cannot see what I am doing wrong.
The only workaround I could find was to create a new template for each report but that's daft as then I end up with hundreds of templates?!!

Hi Hazel,

Thank you for contacting us.

If your audits are appearing as "No Audit Title" or they are automatically populating with the template title, then you will need to edit your template and replace the Audit Title field from the Header Items in the Add-Item View.

From an iPad:
  1. Open iAuditor.
  2. Tap on the "Templates" button on the left-hand side of the screen.
  3. Underneath the template in question, tap on the Edit icon.
  4. In the Template Editor, tap on the "Sections" button at the bottom of the screen, and then tap on "Information Section".
  5. In the Information Section, tap on the small "+" icon, next to the "Add Question" button.
  6. A side-bar menu will open. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and locate the "Audit Title" field.
  7. Drag the "Audit Title" field into your Information Section.
If you give your Audit Title field a title, then this is the title that will appear in the Audits view, and will also appear on the Title Page of your exported audits (Word and PDF formats only).

Currently you can only replace the Audit Title (and other Information Section items) using the iOS Template Editor (for iPad only). We are currently working on bringing these items across to the Android Template Editor, as well as the SafetyCloud template editor. If you do not have an iPad, then you can share the template with me either via email (taylor...@safetyculture.com.au), or via SafetyCloud (with Edit permissions) and I would be more than happy to restore the Audit Title for you.
