Morning All,
I have put together a cleaning audit template and im struggling a little with the scoring. The template has the option of 1-5 and N/A however the weighting of the NA affects the overall score. Id rather if it was NA it didnt affect the total outcome of the audit final % score as changes the percentage.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Best regards

Gareth

Hi Gareth,

Thank you for contacting us. If you would like an NA response to not affect the score, and you have set up a Custom Response (or you're using a Multiple Choice field), you simply need to turn scoring "OFF" for the NA response.
  1. Launch iAuditor, and tap on the "Templates" view.
  2. Tap on the "Edit" icon underneath your template. It looks like a pencil icon.
  3. In the template editor, navigate to your Question or Multiple Choice item.
  4. Tap on the item, and then tap on either "Custom" (for Question fields) or "Edit Responses" (for Multiple Choice).
  5. In the screen that opens, tap "Edit", and then tap on the answer set you created.
  6. A pop-up screen will open. Turn scoring to "OFF" for the NA response.
Once a response has scoring disable for a particular response, that response will no longer count towards your final score if it is chosen while auditing. This means that your NA response will simply remove that question from the total possible score, rather than counting as a false result.

If there is anything else that I can assist with, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Kind Regards,
Taylor Young

Hi Taylor

I use the Android version on a Samsung Galaxy Note and ran into the following issue. Following your recommendation below, I created a custom report using mainly multiple choice questions, with various custom responses, for example:
"Good" (scoring 'on' and value = 4)
"1 of 3" (scoring 'on' and value = 3)
"2 of 3" (scoring 'on' and value = 2)
"3 of 3" (scoring 'on' and value = 1)
"N/A" (scoring 'off' and value = 0)

If I only have 2 questions (both using the same set of responses, as above) and when selecting the "N/A" response for 1 question, the overall score is calculated as 100% (4/4) under "Audits", which is as expected. However, when exporting to pdf the cover page gives a score of "4.0/8.0 - 50%". The same is reflected for that Section on the "Table of Contents" page, and on the header of the Section page.

Could you please assist to identify whether this is a bug, or am I doing something incorrectly.

Many thanks.
Marius
