Hello,

My audit must count all "no" answers, en give me a percentage.
It is about the disabilty to perform "daily activities" (see Elida in public library).

The only way to make work this settings, as I searched very long, is to change the iAuditor settings in the "control panel on my iPad": yes counts NO, and no counts YES.

Eg if a person can't do one of the 50 questions about daily life activities, I tap a NO, so a 1 score is added, the count goes up. Furthermore, if NO, a pop-up text box comes open to type txt (eg. Eat meat and vegetables independent: NO, he can't, pop-up window: I fill in " he had a paralysis of his right arm". )

With normal settings, I can not build this template.

Having changed the iPad settings, and yes/no score changed, makes it now impossible to build other iAuditor apps, were yes wouls count for 1, ...  As the iPad settings are set that only NO answers gives an 1 score...

So, how do I reolv this (major) problem ?
Template disability: yes must count for 0 (no disability problem, no pop-up text box, and "no" must count for 1 and pop-up txt box must appear.
At the end, I want the global score (which had te be multiplyed by 2,88 to show the use of "help of third persons in minutes / hours each day / each week... a tool that is not available.
Template 2, I want all yes questions to count 1, ... Etcetera etcetera.

Can this issue be solved whithout having changed all times my iPad settings in the ControlPanel ?

Thanks !

Hi Ward,

If you would like to modify the scoring for your template, it is best to create a "Custom Response" for your Question fields, rather than use the standard answers of "Yes/No/NA".
  1. In the template editor, tap on your Question field, and then tap on "Custom".
  2. A pop-up window will open. Tap on "Add".
  3. Enter your responses. You can still use "Yes/No/NA", or any response you like.
  4. Under the "Scoring" heading, change the score for the "Yes" response to "0", and the score for the "No" response as "1".
  5. You can also choose a colour for your answers. When you choose your response while auditing, it will then change colour to suit the response (just like the standard responses).
  6. When you have completed customising your responses, tap "Done" in the top, left-hand corner of the screen.
  7. Your custom response set will appear in the pop-up window. Tap on your custom response to select it for that answer.
  8. For any other Question field in your template, you only need to tap on "Custom", and then your custom response set to use those same settings for the next question.
Whenever you create a custom response, it remains local to that template, and does not affect your other templates.

There is no calculator option in iAuditor just yet, but this is something that we are working towards including in a future update. For the time being, this would have to be done manually.

As I said above, a custom response set only applies to that template, and you can create other custom response sets in other templates, or use the standard responses as normal, with normal scoring options.

If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.

Kind Regards,
Taylor Young
