Hi,
I use Templates/Responses to list my customers for users to use on inspections and in the past when we added to a new customer i would add them to the CSV file with the other 700, sort in alphabetical order and upload. This all worked very well until an update in 2021, after this point uploading the csv file wipes parts of my templates that have If "Not Listed" meaning this part of the template no longer works until i go back into my 55 templates and replace it. Below is the reply from iAuditor.
I'm sure others must be facing this issue, its not just with customers, i also have responses for machine type and manufactuere and if i update these with the CSV it will wipe out all my logic where i ask if "not listed"
Let me know if you have any solutions ??
Having discussed with the team, it was confirmed it is expected behaviour that
when you add new responses via CSV to your Global Response Set, it will wipe
the set up responses in the template.
I really do appreciate that this is not ideal and is very disruptive to your
workflow.
At the moment, our options are:
1. To
upload
the responses to the Global Response Set manually (which wouldn't result
in having to change the template each time).
2. To set up an API which would mean you could still upload your responses in
bulk via CSV upload, and the logic would remain as it was in the template
(essentially the ID of each response would be unaffected).
With the second option you would need a basic knowledge of setting up an API or
if you have an internal IT team who could help with this that would be great.
We do have our developer docs that explain how to set this up, which I will
