Hello all

Consultation is now open on the changes proposed for decimal upgrade 1.02 of the IATI Standard.

These are relatively minor proposals that include bug-fixes, codelist modifications and minor additions to the schema which improve the functionality without introducing substantial new content.

Consultation on the proposed changes will be open until the end of this month (5pm on Friday 31 August).

In summary, the proposed changes include:

  • Schema Changes – vocabulary for region codes (i.e. allow both UN and DAC regions), linked data access
  • Code list changes - add openstreetmap as gazetter agency, transaction type element needs additional code options, additional document categories
  • Fixes - alter documentation within the schema that is out of date, document-link language.
If you would like to comment on a specific change during the consultation period, please do so on the Knowledge Base - http://support.iatistandard.org/forums/21131653-first-decimal-upgrade.

During and following the consultation period, we will work up the final proposals on the TAG Wiki - http://wiki.iatistandard.org/standard/revision/1.02/changes_specification, with full implementation planned for December.

If you have any questions, please get in touch.

cheers

Kim
