Now and future of data publishing symposium

Hello IASSIST SIGDCers,

You may remember that Peggy shared with our list an announcement for the Dryad meeting, in conjunction with a symposium on the Now and Future of Data Publishing held at Oxford last week. See https://www.datadryad.org/pages/membershipMeeting

Although I was not able to attend, I understand that this was a very interesting event and relevant to our interests. If anyone from the group attended, I would like to encourage you to come to our SIGDC meeting tomorrow to share any ideas from the event that could feed into SIGDC action items, and also to write up an SIGDC sponsored IASSIST blog post. We're hoping for a mind meld from the IASSIST sessions and other happenings to continue to move IASSIST SIGDC activities in sponsorship of data citation developments! Please remember that sharing your reflections here on the listserv and in blog posts is always a highly encouraged and appreciated activity.
