Dear Families, Friends and Colleagues,
The devastation from Judy & Kevin has left us all with the remnants of our homes, our shops and our meeting places. For the people of Futuna itself, the impact is huge which we have to pick back up the pieces of our lives and rebuild.
Thus, while our government continues ament orders under Disaster Management Act No. 23 of 2019 to instrument directions to all government agencies and other support needed, our people need to step up, get up and be instruments for themselves to show resiliency to our hardworking government.
Yet we cannot do it ourselves because nothing Judy & Kevin has left us with.
If there's anything you can help to uplift our hearts to remain strong and be self-sufficient and rebuild back our homes it will be our coordination and collaboration in picking up priorities within our recovery plan (attach).
I am sharing it now if any priority relates to any funding opportunities that you know of which can help our people on it's recovery process, please do collaborate with us to build back a better Futuna.
