1. Fully Funded Opportunity: Pre-COP31 Australia & Pacific Youth Climate Dialogue (APYCD)
UNICEF is inviting applications from young climate leaders aged 14–29 across the Pacific to attend the fully funded Pre-COP31 Australia & Pacific Youth Climate Dialogue in Nadi, Fiji, from 1–3 October 2026. Participants will strengthen their leadership and climate advocacy skills, connect with peers from across the region, and help shape youth recommendations that will feed into Pre-COP31 and COP31 discussions. Travel, accommodation and meals are fully covered, and applications close 26 July 2026.
2. JWH Initiative Leadership Grant
The JWH Initiative Leadership Grant supports young environmental CSO leaders (generally under 35) from developing countries and emerging economies with funding for their personal leadership development.
The grant can be used for learning opportunities such as training, courses or mentorship, but cannot be used to implement projects, pay organisational costs or fund other people's salaries, and applicants must be nominated by someone who knows their work well (self-nominations are not accepted). It is open to emerging leaders with a strong commitment to sustainable development, climate justice and community-based environmental action.
3. UNESCO Intercultural Leadership Programme 2026–2027 (Fully Funded)
UNESCO is inviting applications from emerging leaders aged 25–45 for the fully funded Youth for Peace: UNESCO Intercultural Leadership Programme 2026–2027. Participants will join a global network of changemakers, strengthen their leadership through training, mentorship and intercultural dialogue, and develop initiatives that promote peace, inclusion and social cohesion. Travel and participation costs for in-person activities are covered by UNESCO, and applications close 19 July 2026 (23:59 CET)
