Hello,
First of all we would like to thank you for your interest in Synergo. We are quite interested in your SNA analysis project since it is in our area of interest as well. However we should let you know that Synergo is mostly used for supporting collaboration between pairs and that is why we have some second thoughts that it can’t be proved helpful in your research.
For reading the logfiles(which are encoded that is why you cannot read them straight forward) we use the “Analysis Tools” that is part of Synergo client. You can easily copy/paste the data from there in a text file or excel sheet. If you need a more “automated” way to do that, we could provide you with an API or the Synergo code that we use for decoding the logfiles.
Thank you in advance,

Greetings,
We are a group of students doing some research about the application of
Social Network Analysis (SNA) in
Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) environments and
have been developing a external SNA module with some methods implemented
on a google project that we called IASNA
<http://code.google.com/p/iasna>(Interaction Analysis with SNA), now
we are looking for CSCL environments
which provide a logfile that can be accessed in order to map the interaction
data to graphs in a form that can be possible apply some sna methods. we are
interested in using Synergo but can not read the data saved in the logfile
and the question is if there is a way to read this file from an external
module whether an API or accessing the methods used for the Analysis tool to
read and show the data on Synergo.
Thank you in advance.
