We have had an amazing response the architect skills project.
Over 60 senior architects have already signed up to develop articles
for this immensely
valuable project. There are only 40 articles still open for the taking
so please hurry!
When we are finished IASA members will have developed the only complete
picture of what
it takes to be an IT architect. You still have an opportunity to get
involved with this
valuable program. We will be making the final assignments by THIS
FRIDAY (11/10/2006) so
signup now. This is our opportunity to show the industry what
architecture is all about!
If you or anyone you know would like to help please don't hesitate.
Authors will receive
industry recognition AND $500 in compensation. Project Overview
This fall, the International Association of Software Architects (IASA)
is developing a
full skills package for the IT architect. The project fullfils a
primary component of the
IASA mission which is to allow the open architect community to guide
the overall
direction of the profession. The goal of the project is to deliver a
series of 3-5 page
white papers on the skills necessary to function as an IT architect.
This material will
be freely available to the community and will provide a solid
foundation for an aspiring
architect to understand the capabilities of a senior IT architect
regardless of
specialization. http://www.iasahome.org/iasaweb/appmanager/home/skills
