David Walker’s forthcoming volume Stranded Nation - a sequel to his seminal volume on Australia’s Asia, Anxious Nation - is about to be published by the University of Western Australia Publishing. It explores “post-colonial” Australia’s uneasy reorientations to cope with its neighbourhood, in an age of imperial retreat, decolonisation, Cold War and globalisation, between 1939 and 1970.
Prof. Walker has mailed me the attached flyer on the title, so it could be circulated on our website.
