Hi both,
Here's a publishing opportunity for some IASA folk if you have time to circulate it.
All the best,

Subject: International Perspectives on Australian Fiction deadline: 20 July 2020Dear international Potential contributors to this exciting CSP volume,
I trust that life is going along as well as possible under the circumstances.
This is a recap message to give you the extra information (based on your FAQs) you need for our project and to get efficiently organised.
This CSP CFC has a 20 July 2020 deadline at 20:20 20'' 😉
I'm attaching the form that has to be completed at this stage to formalise your contribution to International Perspectives on Australian Fiction.
This will give us a clear indication of your commitment to this volume as well as a sense of direction (We want to avoid redundant contributions). If you have done this informally before, please re-submit by using attachment 1 only.
Attachment 2 will give you the stylesheet and general guidelines to communicate effectively.
Your contribution will fall into either of these two categories:
The first section (THEORY) will deal with these themes and more (Feel free to offer other topics) : the state of Australian Literary Studies in their countries, the globalisation of Australian fiction and the supportive Australian programs which encourage it, the translating and reception of Australian literary texts, their local publishing industry participating in the dissemination Australian literature, the teaching of Australian fiction abroad, inter alia.
Publisher: Cambridge Scholars Publishing (under contract, commissioned title): https://www.cambridgescholars.com
Style: Chicago
Word count: 6000 words max. (all included)
Deadline for submissions: 20 July 2020
The second section (PRACTICE) will include original readings of Aust Fiction. So unpublished lectures and articles are welcome in this category as well.It nevertheless has to demonstrate an international take on Ozlit. One way of doing this is to embrace the scholarship written by your international colleagues and not just limit yourself to Australian sources. Or you might want to choose an approach which has been underexploited by Australian scholars, etc.My heartfelt thanks go to those who have shared this CFC on websites or with international colleagues.
Kindest regards, JFJean-François Vernay // CIEE
