IASA Denver - February update

Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone who attended our February event last night. The discussion around open source with Stormy was excellent!

Here are some of the announcements (in no particular order) for those who could not make it last night:

• Our first-ever Denver ITARC (IT Architecture Regional Conference) is May 6th. If you are interested in presenting then please go to http://bit.ly/itarc-denver and follow the instructions (presentations are 60 minutes in length). Let's get the word out and make this a great event!
• Jeff Certain is our new chapter treasurer, Joe Shirey is our new chapter secretary.
• We have a new chapter leadership mailing list (Google group). If you would like to volunteer in any way then please let Tim know and we will get you on the list.
• Both Tim Berglund and I will have served the chapter for three years by the end of this year, and last night announced our intention to stand down from chapter leadership this coming December. So please let us know if you are interested in stepping up at the end of the year.
• Our next chapter event is March 15th. We'll send out an announcement email and update the website with all the details soon.
• Congrats to Tom, Yoshi and Aaron for winning door prizes last night.
