Dear colleague,
We are pleased to announce that the next edition of Topics in Applied Cryptography (TAC2025) will take place on September 12, 2025, in Rome, co-located with the CIFRIS25 conference. The registration to attend the conference and workshops will be free of charge.
TAC is a half-day workshop dedicated to all aspects of applied cryptography. It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working on real-world applications of cryptography, including privacy-preserving technologies, cryptographic protocols, formal analysis, and implementation aspects. The workshop provides an opportunity to share ongoing work, present fresh results, and foster discussion within a focused and engaged community.
This year, we are glad to host Peter Rønne (Université du Luxembourg) as our invited speaker. Peter is one of the organizers of the E-Vote-ID conference and has contributed extensively to the field of electronic voting and formal verification of cryptographic protocols.
We welcome short talks and demos (10–20 minutes) on topics related to applied cryptography. To submit a contribution it is sufficient to send an abstract (max 2 pages) to t...@fbk.eu, proposals will be subject to a rolling review, giving a response within a few working days. The ultimate deadline is August the 22nd, but note that the review process favours earlier submissions.
Further information is available on the workshop website: https://aleph.fbk.eu/events/TAC2025/index.html
If you’re interested in contributing, or if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
Feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested.
Best regards,
TAC Organizing Committee
