About The Workshop
============================================
This workshop will explore the intersection of Quantum Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Computer Vision within Intelligent Environments (IE). As IoT devices and computer vision systems become more integrated into physical spaces, new security challenges arise, especially with the advent of quantum computing, which threatens traditional cryptographic methods. The workshop will discuss the implementation of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) to secure resource-constrained IoT devices and delve into the potential of quantum computing to enhance computer vision tasks such as pattern recognition and image processing, setting the stage for a secure and intelligent future.
Topics
============================================
· Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) for IoT devices in Intelligent Environments
· Quantum computing applications in computer vision for pattern recognition, object detection, and image processing
· Security vulnerabilities and challenges in IoT networks and vision systems in the context of quantum computing
· Quantum machine learning algorithms for enhanced vision systems in Intelligent Environments
· Use cases of PQC implementation in real-world Intelligent Environments (e.g., smart cities, healthcare, industrial networks)
· Transition strategies from classical cryptographic methods to PQC in IoT ecosystems
· Impact of quantum computing on data privacy and security in Intelligent Environments
· Integration of PQC in resource-constrained embedded systems within smart environments
· Future trends in quantum technologies and their influence on Intelligent Environments development and security
· Cross-disciplinary approaches combining AI, IoT, and quantum computing in Intelligent Environments
Submission Information
============================================
All papers will be submitted to a peer review process by referees with experience in the area. This process will result in constructive feedback to the authors and the selection of the best contributions to be presented at the workshop and published in the proceedings. Authors wishing to participate in this event should format their papers according to the IOS Press style, with a length of at least 6 but no more than 10 pages.
Latex/Word templates: http://www.iospress.nl/service/authors/latex-and-word-tools-for-book-authors/. Papers must be submitted using the CMT site for this workshop (Select WS1: QUITE).
All papers accepted will be published as a volume of the Book Series on Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments (IOS Press), which is published Open Access and indexed by Clarivate (Web of Science).
---Author Registration: please visit here.
---Please do follow the announcement on the IE2025 website.
