Congratulations to our &MUN Team!

This weekend, GWU's Model UN team took home FOUR gavels, one outstanding and one honorable at The College of William and Mary's inaugural Model United Nations conference. The team also took home GWU's first delegation award of the year--winning awards in 6 out of 6 committees. The IAS would like to congratulate the entire &MUN delegation for their hard work and dedication. Special congratulations to Kalli McCoy, Thomas Davies, Mari Manoogian, Max Sanders, Manuela Kurkaa, and Makena Dingwell for winning individual awards.

The International Affairs Society Presents the Spring Charity Gala

The International Affairs Society at the George Washington University is pleased to invite you, your date and fellow guests to our annual Spring Charity Gala. This year, our organization has worked closely with Fonkoze and this will be the charity in which a portion of the night's proceeds will go to. Our Gala will take place at the beautiful waterfront Arena Stage, Mead Center for American Theater (located at 1101 6th St SW, Washington, DC 20024) on Friday April 26th 2013.

Our event will last from 8PM to midnight. Reception will start at 8PM and dinner at 9PM promptly. There will be live music as entertainment and guests are encouraged to dance at near the end of the night. Dress code is black tie which means full suits or tuxedos for gentlemen and long evening gowns for ladies.

Tickets are $60 per individual, but if you buy tickets together as a couple, its only $100. You can pay online here. We also accept cash which can be paid to our office hours in the Marvin Center as per our listserv. We only have a limited amount of tickets so buy them fast! Our office hours will be as follows for the next few weeks:

Monday & Tuesdays: 9:00AM-9:00PM except 12:00PM-1:00PM

Wednesday & Thursdays: 9:00AM-9:00PM

Friday: 11:00AM-9:00PM
