Assalamo Alykum brothers,
I ask Allah Ta'ala that this letter finds all and your families in a very good health.
As you probably know by now, the registration period for our annual leagues (Indoor Soccer League 2008 & Men's Basketball League 2008) has arrived. This announcement was primarily scheduled to go out this past Friday. Well, plan suddenly changed as soon as I was notified that the completion "exact" date of the new building is uncertain. This is to say that chances are that the new building may not be open for use by the beginning of January. So, after I attended the IAR EC meeting yesterday, a reasonable target date to start these leagues was decided to be around mid-January of 2008. The registration process is schedule to start by mid-December of 2007.
Other items we would like to mention are as follow:
i- I will be using the email list from last year (2006-2007). If you wish to have your name removed from this list, please say so.
ii- If you would like to volunteer some of your time and effort in conducting these leagues, please allow us to meet with you by simply replying to this email.
iii- Your feedback, suggestions are valuable to the Sports & Rec committee. Please keep them coming.
