Swimming "Learn & Play" for kids this Saturday

The Sports & Receation Committee will have the following event this Saturday. Please let all the parents that you know. This is a one time event.This is also such a short notice. Swimming pools are very busy at this time and so are the swimming instructor. Attached, please find the flyer and the registration form for this evnt. This will be announced on Fridayinsha Allah.

Swimming "Learn & Play" Event for Kids

Event's Date: Saturday May 24^th, 2008

 

^{GENERAL INFOMARTION}

 

^{The IAR SRC Committee is organizing a swimming activity for children ages 4 through 13 on this coming Saturday, May 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Triangle Aquatics Center (TAC) in Cary (Address: 275 Convention Drive, Cary 27511.  Registration is on a first come, first served basis.}  

 

^{For children ages 4 through 7, the group is mixed (boys and girls). The maximal number of kids in this group is 24. They are going to be taught by two female instructors, in shaa Allah, in the instructional pool (shallow warm-water pool). There will be a 30 minute swim lesson and 30 minute leisure activity.}

 

^{For children ages 8 through 13, the group contains only boys. The number of boys is 24. This group will have a 30 minute swim lesson and a 30 minute leisure time activity in the program pool. It is a bigger pool that starts at a depth of 4 ft. The deep-end is 7 ft. This group will be taught by two male instructors.}  

 

^{Both groups will be divided into two. While half of them are having lessons, the other half will be having their recreational time. Once the first 30 minute activity is over, groups will switch.}

 

^{Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the pool 15 minutes before the activity starts. One of the volunteers should be there to help you get to the pool. In case you come late, please inform the receptionist at the front desk that you are with the IAR group.}
