Socceer tourney status update

Assalamo Alykum Brothers,
Much of the efforts was exhausted in finding the fields to conduct this tourney.
WakeMed Soccer park (formerly called SAS) is not allowing adults soccer until May 2008 due to the drought restrictions. They are giving priority to the youth soccer only. Yes, I asked them of their "youth definition" and they replied that it is not "55 years of age and younger" :).
The CASL turf field in capital BLVD are way too expensive so they are out.
The King's Village field is closed for few months for renovation.
The NCSU soccer field on Method rd and Ligon Street is not for rent.
Our only options is the Method rd rd park field. its pros is that it is very close to IAR, and very cheap. The cons are that (i) it is not the greatest field you want to play on, (ii) they don't mark the field and nor do they provide the goals. As to the goals, they told me that they are goals in there and they belong to CASL. CASL uses them for their practices during the week. We can use them too but we have to mark the field. Any expert out there in marking soccer field, please come forward!
So bottom line, yes insha Allah we can have a nice and short tournament using this field starting on Jan 26 2008. So I think you should just go ahead and submit your name as the captain along with your team name. We will get the rosters and other relevant information from you all during our Captains meeting which will be next weekend. I'll keep you posted on that too.
