Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Shaban

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The month (can be) 29 nights (i.e. days), and do not fast till you see the moon, and if the sky is overcast, then complete Sha'ban as thirty days."

(Sahih al-Bukhari 1907, Book 30, Hadith 17)

Allah's Names And How To Use Them In Duas: Here are some of Allah's names and how you might use them in duas:
  1. Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful):

    •  Dua: "Ya Ar-Rahman, grant me Your boundless mercy and compassion in all aspects of my life."
  2. Ar-Rahim (The Most Compassionate):

    •  Dua: "Ya Ar-Rahim, shower me with Your mercy and forgive my shortcomings."
  3. Al-Malik (The Sovereign Lord):

    •  Dua: "Ya Al-Malik, grant me strength and guidance to live in accordance with Your will."
  4. Al-Quddus (The Most Holy):

    •  Dua: "Ya Al-Quddus, purify my heart and guide me towards righteousness."
  5. As-Salam (The Source of Peace):

    •  Dua: "Ya As-Salam, grant me peace in my heart and in my life."
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Indeed, Allah has ninety-nine Names, one hundred less one, whoever encompasses them (iḥṣā’ahā) will enter Paradise.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2736)

“Verily, there are ninety-nine Names of Allah; whoever preserves them (aḥṣāhā) will enter Paradise. Allah is Witr (One/Odd) and loves what is odd.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2677a)

Note: Scholars explain that “iḥṣā'” (أحصاها/encompasses them) means: (1) memorizing them, (2) understanding their meanings, (3) worshipping Allah by them, and (4) calling upon Him through them in supplication. TheRead more
