Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The month (can be) 29 nights (i.e. days), and do not fast till you see the moon, and if the sky is overcast, then
complete Sha'ban as thirty days."

names and how you might use them
in duas:

Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful):
- Dua: "Ya Ar-Rahman, grant me Your boundless mercy and compassion in all aspects of my life."

Ar-Rahim (The Most Compassionate):
- Dua: "Ya Ar-Rahim, shower me with Your mercy and forgive my shortcomings."

Al-Malik (The Sovereign Lord):
- Dua: "Ya Al-Malik, grant me strength and guidance to live in accordance with Your will."

Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Indeed, Allah has ninety-nine Names, one hundred less one, whoever encompasses them (iḥṣā’ahā) will enter Paradise.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2736)
“Verily, there are ninety-nine Names of Allah; whoever preserves them (aḥṣāhā) will enter Paradise. Allah is Witr (One/Odd) and loves what is odd.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2677a)
