I pray that all of you are doing well by the Grace and Mercy of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Compassionate. I am sending you this email on behalf of the Social and Welfare Committee as well as the Da'wah Committee regarding this year's Coat and Winter Clothing Drive.
Sister Hala and I will send updates as needed. May Allah, SWT reward you for your efforts and your donations. The following announcement is from Brother Munir.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Assalamu alaikum Wa Rahamtu Allah,
As the cold weather is upon us, the Social and Welfare Committee and the Dawa'a Committee are launching a coat and winter clothes drive to help families in need. Only new and gently used sweaters coats and jackets are being sought and collected for adults and children of all ages. New scarves, gloves and hats are also required. Your donations will be collected on Saturday October 2 and Saturday October 9 from 10:00 AM through 3:00 PM at the Brick Building at IAR. Volunteers will be available on these dates and time to receive your donations. Please do not drop off your donations at IAR premises outside the assigned time slots on October 2 and 9. Please remember, you are giving a gift for the sake of Allah SWT. Make sure, your gently used donation is in clean, like new condition, no missing buttons or broken zippers.
