I also just wanted to share with you that I am working towards a live supervision process for myself in my work with young people where I feel that there is a need for immediate supervision. I have been meeting alot of young people with extreme autism, and there is a strong wish for some ways of working with them that are less relient upon medication. I am planning, with consent of course, to see if I can have experienced processworkers join me by google Hangout, with a blue tooth microphone headset and ipad in the session so that I can talk with a supervisor and hear their feedback in the moment... As long as they let me and the young man have say too!
I just wanted to share this because I think there are some incredible training opportunities here in future. We can have the trainer or supervisor with us in the session, speaking in our ear as a virtual third party. It rreally bring s a new dimension to 'hearing voices'. But also I think this kind of live training opportunity when we become familiar with it, could be a very very deep form of training. Also the session can be recorded. You can have even several supervisors. And of course you could also have someone working with a client or group, and the virtual classroom being a part of the work at the same time.
Let me know what you think.
