Bridging Borders: Addressing Cancer Across South-East Asia

Due to the overwhelming support for ICRS 2025, we are delighted to announce that outstanding abstracts submitted to the symposium will now be eligible for a variety of awards! We encourage all potential authors to submit their exceptional research for a chance to win one of these prestigious awards.

Award Categories

 

1.        Oral Presentation Award

    • 12 Prizes: RM500
    • Eligibility: Outstanding research abstracts submitted by registrants opting for oral presentation.
    • Selection criteria: The 3 best abstracts from each of the 4 symposium themes will be awarded. Abstracts will be evaluated based on relevance to the conference theme, impact and innovation of the research, clarity and scientific rigor, and potential for an engaging presentation. 

 

2.        Young Investigator Award

    • 9 Prizes: RM500 x3, RM 350 x3, RM 250 x3
    • Eligibility: Early career researchers within 3 years of PhD completion or pathology training.
    • Selection criteria: The Young Investigator Award recognizes outstanding early-career researchers who have demonstrated exceptional promise and achievement in their field. Candidates will be evaluated based on their Curriculum Vitae (CV). 

 

3.         Travel Grant Awards

 

The ICRS 2025 Scientific Programme Committee will carefully review all submissions and select the best abstracts for recognition. Check for the eligibility criteria here.

Important Deadlines Announcement 

 

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: Extended to 23 March 2025
  • Abstract Acceptance Notification: 9 April 2025
  • Early Bird Registration Deadline: 30 April 2025
  • Early Bird Payment Deadline: 7 May 2025
  • Normal/On-site Registration: From 1 May 2025 onwards

 

 

 

Event Highlights

 

Conference Proceedings Publications:

Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings in the Asia-Pacific Journal of Clinical Oncology (APJCO). Selected abstracts are welcomed to submit full papers to be published in APJCO.
