Dear IAPMD Members,

We are pleased to announce that ten bursaries of RM1,000 each are available for trainees and young pathologists who are IAPMD members to attend the 9th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) from 7th to 8th September 2024 in Kuching. This initiative aims to support the professional development of our members, especially those early in their careers.

Eligibility Criteria:

Membership: Applicants must be members of the IAPMD.
Age: Applicants must be 40 or younger at the time of application. However, applicants above the age limit may still apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Abstract Acceptance: Applicants must have received abstract acceptance from the 9th ASM Scientific Committee.

Application Requirements:
To apply, please submit the following documents to the IAPMD Education Committee (attention to Dato' Dr Norain Karim) at nora...@gmail.com:

Cover Letter: Briefly explain why you are applying for the bursary.
Curriculum Vitae: Include age, place of work and relevant information.
Accepted Abstract: Provide the abstract ID and title.
Referees: Include the name, address, and email of two referees.

Deadline for Submission:

The deadline for applications is 27th August 2024.

Please note that approval of your abstract by the ASM Scientific Committee is a mandatory requirement for bursary consideration. Successful applicants will be notified by 4th September 2024 after completing the selection process.
