Dear Fundraising Colleague
As President of the European Fundraising Association, it is a great
pleasure to invite you to the 1st Annual EFA Skillshare. This will be
an exciting and unique opportunity for fundraisers around Europe to
share their various skills and learn from each other. The EFA
Skillshare has been launched so that EFA Members’ are able, in a
practical way, to support and inspire the further development of
professional fundraising in Europe, as well as encourage and support
the establishment of fundraising associations in countries where a
formal association does not exist.
The EFA Skillshare will take place on Friday, 14 November 2008 in
Berlin and full details are included on the attached programme and
registration form. As you will see, there will also be the opportunity
to get together with colleagues from the German Fundraising
Association on Thursday, 13 November.
Please see below for details on hotels in Berlin.
I hope that you will be able to join us in Berlin and contribute to
this exciting event together with other fundraisers from around
Europe!

Hi Shai,
Just to let you know, I will be attending the International Fundraising Congress next week in Amsterdam. As far as I know, I am the only participant from Israel.
As eJewish Philanthropy is interested in making further contacts in the EU countries (after receiving this email) I was in contact with the European Fundraising Association, and have scheduled a meeting with one of their Board Members who will also be in attendance at the IFC. (They chose not to attend this year as an organization).
If I can further any contact on your behalf, feel free to be in touch with me.
