I just had to share this with you. By a freaky coincidence, both the books I've got from the library are written by Economists..... one of them is Freakonomics ( the title says it all),   and the other one is Dead on Time which is actually a freakier book considering that it's a racy, tongue-in -cheek  British political comedy thriller ( difficult to categorise)  by ...... Meghnad Desai who if you didn't know is an Indian born economist, who sits in Britain's House of Lords.

Dead on Time is actually a page turner, tho I almost gave up after being unable to keep up with the various characters, but then it gathered steam.... and packed a wallop!!

Great Rujuta.
This is like I taking up say Chemistry or Physics!
As a wag once said, there's always some economics in politics, some politics in all economics, and quite a bit of both in our lives....
Cheers

Yes that maybe so but where does this very credible bit of fiction writing crop up from?
