Job Description

•               Installation, configuration of Websphere Application Server (7.x and 8.x), Tomcat and IBM HTTP Server, Apache Web Server on Red Hat Linux platform

•               Should be very strong with installation and configuration on WAS (network Deployment)with High Availability WAS clustering, Tomcat, Apache/ IHS web server software

•               Experience with scripting (Jaython) to manage WAS administration and management tasks such as startup and stop of JVMs, nodes, cells, logs maintenance, configuration backups etc.

•               Strong hands on experience configuring WAS for data sources for databases/ QCF MQ connectivity

•               Good experience with managing SSL certificates on Web servers and high level understanding of Web services and WS Security for web services

•               Experience and understanding of how web infrastructure works with high availability load balancers and integration with Siteminder/ LDAP directory for user authentication

•               Experience with configuration and usage of tools like CA Wily for monitoring and improving performance, troubleshooting issues

•               Experience in analyzing and identifying WebSphere application performance issues

•               High level understanding of how Java/ J2EE applications are deployed and work in Websphere / 3 Tier architecture

•               Good understanding of incident and change management processes, enterprise data center environments

•               Overall exp 7+ years of relevant exp
