TITLE Tech Lead for IBM WCS WebSphere Commerce Suite.
Skills needed and responsibilities Tech Lead for IBM WCS(WebSphere Commerce Suite ) Ecommerce Project in Retail industry
Overall 8+ years in Java/J2EE with 5+ Years of WCS Experience
1) Good Communication and Analytical skills
2) Strong Design and implemenation experience in Websphere Commerce v7.0
3) Should be able to create blueprint designs / architecture landscape’s for complex ecommerce eco systems
4) Strong understanding of Websphere commerce architecture and able to provide right design decisions
5) Experience in Integrating , designing and developing custom solutions within Websphere Commerce
8) Hands-on experience with utilizing various sub systems of Websphere Commerce Server i.e Catalog, Order, Member etc
9) Strong Java J2EE experience
10) Database Programming Skill
11) End-to-end experience in software development life-cycle and familiar with agile methodologies
12) Knowledge in WCS all versions and new SOA framework
13) Executed at least 2 WCS end-to-end implementation
14) Technical leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision
15) Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques
Total experience in required skill (years) Minimum 2 years as Technical Lead ( total of 8+ years of IT experience)

Role and Responsibilities:
1) Design, plan and implement IT solutions for a Websphere Commerce Server with Java J2EE environment
2) Design, Plan and implement solutions in eco system which consist of towards strong order management and inventory management systems in place, especially with Sterling
3) Lead mid-level planning exercises with developers/engineers
4) Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
5) Project Manage scope, time and quality throughout the project life-cycle
6) Facilitate and drive workshops and client meetings in order to help to translate business requirements into system
