Good evening, all. Just got an interesting email from interim DS
Fisher. The main thrust was that he would be unable to attend our
round table discussion tomorrow because a person affiliated with their
church committed suicide last week, and the service is tomorrow. More
relevant for our discussion, though, he revealed that the district is
looking at a Jon Wiest as another potential church planter for the Des
Moines area.

I do not know this man, but I am excited that the district has someone
else that they're thinking will be able to join our team. After all,
we're supposed to plant at least two churches, right? According to my
math, that means two church planters!

Anyway, no idea on timeframes, but Rev. Fisher indicated that Jon may
be in on the round table tomorrow. So keep an eye out for him! And if
we can get some contact info from him, it might be good to include him
in this group.
