Dear IAMC Community

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

 

Please note the following important information for the Masjid Board Elections 2019-2020

  

1.        Masjid Board nominations are now open. Nomination form is attached. All nominations are due by Friday, January 04, 2019 by 3:00 PM

2.        Masjid Board member election will be held on Sunday January 13^th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. THREE board positions are open.

3.        Early voting will also be held on Friday, January 11^th from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (after Jumu'ah prayer)

4.        Candidates nominated should submit one-page manifesto and a photograph by Wednesday, January 09^th, 2019 @9:00 PM. It should highlight their experience and what they desire to accomplish if elected on IAMC board. This Information will be posted on Masjid Bulletin Board for elections.

 

Election Rules

1.        Voting Members must be in good standing for 2018 (Donation or membership due must be paid before June 30^th 2018)

2.        Elections will be based on a finalized membership list posted by the IAMC treasurer. This list is posted at the masjid. Those who are not on the membership list will not be eligible to vote.

3.        There will be NO Proxy Voting – members MUST be present to vote.

4.        Final list of candidates will be published by Tuesday January 08^th, 2019 @7:00 PM.

5.        Voting results will be final. The number of votes for each candidate will be disclosed.

 

Election Commission Members
