Upcoming Board Elections - Final Nomiation List

Dear IAMC Members:

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

The final nomination list for the IAMC Board elections 2019/2020 has been compiled and posted at the Masjid. The following nominees qualify as candidates for the 3 board positions:

·         ANILA KHAN

·         GHAZANFAR MAHMOOD

·         MOHAMMAD MUNIR AHMED QURESHI

·         MOHSIN SHAH

·         RUKHSANA KHANUM

·         ZAHID RAO

·         ZIA ULLAH SHEIKH

 

Just a reminder on the remaining process:

1.       IAMC board has scheduled a Meet and Greet with candidates on Thursday, Jan 10^th between Maghrib and Isha at Colleyville Masjid. Please make every attempt to attend.

2.       Early voting is on Friday, January 11th from 2:00 pm to 3:00 PM (after Jumu'ah prayer)

3.       General voting will be on Sunday, January 13th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.

4.       Final results of the voting will be announced after Maghrib on Sunday Jan 13^th.

Please submit a one-page manifesto along with a photograph by Wednesday, January 09^th, 2019 @9:00 PM.  It should highlight your bio and preferably your community service experience in general and what is your aspiration and desire to achieve for IAMC if elected as a board member. This Information will be posted on the Masjid Bulletin Board ONLY for the duration of 2 election days.

 

Note:  Manifesto is NOT a requirement for contesting, however it’s highly recommended as it will provide the voting members the opportunity to know the candidates and put a face to their name.
