Description
A
picture is worth a thousand words and there are many photos in A Visual
Reference for Evidence-Based Design, a book by Jain Malkin. In this
session, the author will discuss her work and the projects highlighted
within. The research behind the projects will be discussed in detail by the
author to give design professionals ideas to weave into their own projects.
Malkin's
book was published by The Center for Health Design through a grant from the
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. This lively discussion will introduce
participants to studies from a wide number of sources, some of which will
surprise you. And you will be able to see plans of some of the most
inventive inpatient units currently under construction.
