HydroEurope project: development of available new teaching units for studying Climate Change Impacts on Flash Floods in six different basins in Europe

This webinar will present the Erasmus+ HydroEurope project, which addresses a critical gap in water engineering education by developing innovative teaching units focused on climate change impacts on flash floods. Through problem-based learning and six European case studies, the project places climate adaptation at the core of the curriculum, equipping future water engineers with practical tools to face increasingly frequent and severe flood events.

During the webinar, we will discuss:

Online resources and teaching units for flood studies

Integrating climate change into water engineering education

Project case studies, challenges addressed, and how to make the most of the knowledge developed
