Dear IAHR Young Professionals,

In 2026 the Workshop on Advanced measurement Techniques and Experimental Research (WATER) summer school will take place in Stuttgart, Germany from 31 August to 4 September 2026.

The summer school is planned as a metrological hands-on event in hydraulics and fluid mechanics.

This workshop is aimed at post graduate researchers, such as PhD candidates, or anyone seeking advanced training in state-of-the-art measurements techniques.

Special emphasis will be placed on the implementation of these techniques in open water channels and other test facilities.
