PhD Scholarship in Civil Engineering at UBI - Biodevices for microplastics retention in watercourses

The University of Beira Interior (UBI) opens a call for 1 (one) Research Scholarship for a PhD, in the scientific area of Civil Engineering and related areas. The project, entitled "Biodevices for microplastics retention in watercourses - Exploring nature's diversity for bioinspired designs," is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), within the scope of the Universitas Montium (UNITA) consortium, for a maximum period of 4 years.

How to Apply: The applications are open from October 9th to October 31st, 2023, and must be sent by email to vrinves...@ubi.pt with the subject "Application for a PhD Research Scholarship, UNITA2023-2_ER -CF".

Scholarship Details: This scholarship aims to finance research activities that will lead to the award of an academic doctorate degree from the Universidade da Beira Interior in collaboration with the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA). Research activities will be carried out mainly at the Centre for Construction Materials and Technologies (C-MADE) at UBI, under the guidance of the two institutions.
