Perspectivas del drenaje urbano dentro del ámbito académico

Nos ha contactado Job van der Werf, investigador de la TU Delft, a través de la SpainYPN. Buscan personas investigadoras en el campo del drenaje urbano para participar en una encuesta sobre el impacto del drenaje urbano en el ámbito académico y, posteriormente, participar en un webinar con motivo del congreso ICUD, que se celebrará en Delft (Países Bajos) en Junio del 2024. Si os interesa participar, tendríais que enviarle vuestro email de antemano, ya que la encuesta que van a lanzar será anónima.

 

The idea is that we will send out a survey to a large group of YWPs in the urban drainage field (MSc and PhD students, post-doc and recent graduates), to elicit their ideas on how we can ensure that the academia will have a significant impact on the sustainability and efficiency of UDS practices in the future. After the survey, we will organise three online workshops (depending on the amount of participants), where we discuss the ideas that come from the survey in smaller groups and synthesise the results from these discussions. The synthesised ideas will be discussed at a last hybrid (online and in-person) workshop to be held at the ICUD conference in Delft, the Netherlands in 2024. Then, we will compile all the ideas and write a comprehensive position paper on it, with all the participants as co-authors.
