Hi,

I am working on figuring out what types of application can really be performance tested using Iago as LG. I current have tested it with Rest API , Ajax and HTTP GET requests.

I also wanted to know if we can simulate HTTP POST requests. I believe we won't have any detials on query string of http post data in your production access logs. In that case how can I simulate http post production traffic , please provide me any reference
Thanks,
Chocks.

Traditional logs won't have the request contents that you can replay directly. If you run a standard website, with no application code, then the story ends there and you immediately should just move to sending synthetic traffic. Synthetic is code for: I made it up based on what I know about our users and the sorts of data we think are entered into these forms.

That said, we all know that 99.99% of the folks that handle POST requests actually _do_ have some application code somewhere. Does that application have logs? If not, you may want to investigate adding them. If so, then you can use THOSE logs to create your POST requests. They may not have every detail of the request, but they can make your synthetic traffic more realistic.
