Dear Colleague,

A geoarchaeology session titled "New contributions in Geoarchaeology" will be organized as part of Theme 10 "Science and Archaeology" of the eighth World Archaeological Congress to be held at Kyoto, Japan, on August 28 to September 2, 2016. Tara Beuzen-Waller, Friederike Stock, and I will co-chair this session. The local organizing committee says that the deadline of abstract submission is probably at the end of April 2016. Please find the attached circular (and feel free to circulate) for the scope of the session and see the conference website ( http://wac8.org ) for the general information.

I look forward to seeing you at my city Kyoto next summer.

Best wishes,

Yasuhisa Kondo

Dear colleagues,

Thank you for your contributions to WAC-8 Kyoto!
In response to many requests, we are delighted to extend the submission deadline to May 31, 2016.
We ask theme organizers to organise their sessions in the best way in collaboration with the session organizers by that date.
We are very looking forward to seeing you this summer!

Best wishes,

Katsu Okamura, WAC-8 Kyoto Program Committee
