The submission of abstracts is due May 11, 2015, and the conference will be held on July 26 to August 1, 2015, in Nagoya, Japan. The LOC also provides some important information on the conference. Dear Colleagues,We are pleased to communicate some good news regarding the forthcomingINQUA Congress in Nagoya.1) Call for poster presentation renewed.The LOC has decided to renew its call for poster presentations. Wehave received many inquiries on late submission following the closureof abstract submission. We have therefore decided to accept newsubmissions for poster presentations from 20 April to 11 May 2015through the web site. We will accept only one poster abstractsubmission per delegate in this case. Please forward this informationto your colleagues or communities. Please note that there is a generalrule that one person (ID) can have two presentations maximum.2) Session schedule and programThe daily schedule of all sessions is now available at the Congressweb site. The presentation style and date/time for all acceptedabstracts will be communicated to all in late April.3) Congress dinner tickets availableCongress dinner tickets were fully booked by early March. The LOC hasprepared additional seats. If you missed out in early March, please book your ticket nowthrough the Congress website. Tickets will be issued on a first come,first served basis.4) The deadline for pre- and post-congress excursions is fast approaching.The registration of pre- and post-congress excursions will be closedon 23:59 15 April, UTC. Please do not miss this opportunity to visitlandscapes, outcrops, and human activities in the Quaternary in Japan,Korea and Taiwan. The deadline for mid-congress excursions is 31 May2015. Please note that some of the courses might be cancelled withouta sufficient number of participants.5) Exhibition BoothExhibition booths are available for companies, organizations andprojects, as well as for advertisement and sponsorships. If you areinterested in having an exhibition booth, please visit the Congressweb site.6) Business meetingsThe LOC will prepare rooms for the business meetings of theCommissions, their IFGs (International Focus Groups), and otherresearch groups. Available rooms and time will be shown on theCongress website soon. You can request a room for relevant sessions(all session schedules are shown on the web site). Thank you for your patience.8) Icebreaker and registrationThe Congress is announced from 27 July to 2 August 2015. However,registration will start on the afternoon of 26 July, followed by anicebreaker in the evening.
