IAC 2009 gets under way

Monday 12 October is the first day of the 60th International
Astronautical Congress.

The IAF Secretariat offices are situated upstairs at the Daejeon
Conference Centre. Go to the top of the escalator and turn right.

You may wish to know that we have set up a dedicated IAC website at:

As the Congress progresses, we will post updates on the plenaries,
highlight lectures and late breaking news sessions there including
reports, photos and videos.

P.S. If you have made it to Korea this year, say hello! There are so
many names and faces to remember for all of us, this is the one time
of year it is perfectly permitted to first look at someone's lapel
badge to remind yourself of their name just before greeting them
warmly :)
