Dear all,
As the June newsletter goes to press, the IAF is announcing its public
programme for the 61st International Astronautical Congress to be held
in Prague from 27 September - 1 October 2010.
The Plenary Events and Highlight Lectures, open to all attendees,
feature topics as diverse as the GPS system, global sea level rise and
its implications, water on the Moon and the continuing Search for
Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence.
Furthermore, our dedicated IAC section continues - each month we will
bring you the latest breaking news from Prague.
At the beginning of the month, the IAF-organised Global Lunar
Conference (GLUC) took place in Beijing, China and focused on one of
the major challenges of the next decade: lunar exploration.
Later in June, the IAF helped organise a Space Day at this year's
Berlin Air Show (ILA).
More details on all of these are available inside.
The newsletter is available both online at:

and as a PDF at:

The IAF Newsletter is sent to industry leaders, journalists,
politicians and academics and forms part of our wider IAF news
strategy, a free service to Federation members. If you have IAF member
news, events, images and initiatives to publicize, drop me an email
and we will do our best to cover them in upcoming newsletters.
I hope you will enjoy reading this edition. Please do not esitate to
give me your feedback.
