the EU-Japan Centre runs the exchange programme for students VULCANUS IN

_Why should a Research Centre take part?_

Since 1996, *more than 200 Japanese students in scientific fields *have
been placed with European companies.

The students are *following a relevant engineering, science or technical
course*. They will use their studies and cultural experience to *help
the Research Centre** with research projects.*

This is also a perfect networking & head hunting opportunity  (about 1
in 6 students end up being offered a permanent position by their host
company, after the placement).
