Open to individuals in both Competitive and Non-Competitive Divisions.

 

Step 1 – Read the Poster Showcase Guidance, watch the webinar on Tips for Success and testimonial video here, and view the informational flyer.

 

Step 2 – Submit your abstract. 

 

Step 3 – Reap the Benefits of Participation:

1. Great networking opportunities with other emergency managers.
2. Credit towards the IAEM Certification program under Professional Contribution Category F, Speaking.
3. Availability of a coach to mentor you through the process the entire way.
4. Chance to earn gold, silver or bronze recognition from IAEM when participating in the Competitive Division.

EMvision Talks Call for Speakers – Deadline May 7, 2021

 

The EMvision Talks are modeled on the TED^TM Talk format.  These 7-minute talks are presented on the plenary stage, Tuesday, October 19^th  at the IAEM 69^th Annual Conference & EMEX in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

 

The Talks provide a forum for people to share a personal connection to an idea, experience or passion related to emergency management, leadership, communication, community engagement, or other related topics.  If you have a story to tell, we want to hear it!

Step 2 – Submit your proposal

 

Two Rounds of Selection:

 

Round 1 – Abstract Submission – Deadline – May 7^th

Round 2 – Video Submission – Deadline – July 1^th
