Good afternoon,

The “Health Care/Public Health Threat Briefing” is a weekly publication published by Baylor Scott & White Information Sharing and Analysis Center.  The intent of this text is to increase the awareness of employees within the health care and public health industry. The “Health Care/Public Health Threat Briefing” is not intended to be a complete list, but rather a snap shot of the emergencies, disasters, and close calls that have a direct or indirect impact of the ESF #8 health and medical sector.

Additionally, this report seeks to highlight changes in law, policy, or programs; as well as identify best practices.  This information is primarily sent to Baylor Scott & White Health employees, Hospital Emergency Response Team members, as well as our homeland security, emergency management, public health, and public safety partners across the US.

Ready,

Nick Sloan, MBA, CEM, CBCP, CHS-I
