I'm struggling to get the dashboard to appear on the correct monitor.  I have multiple monitors at my desk and have the primary monitor set as the one I would like the dashboard to appear on.  This monitor is also the number "1" monitor within the windows display settings.  When I launch the Playback client, the dialog box and splash screen appear on the desired monitor, however once I select the user and desktop and log in, the dashboard appears on a completely different monitor.  It seems to be appearing on the monitor that the BIOS uses as the primary monitor during startup, but not the primary monitor I have set via windows.  If I change the primary monitor in the settings, the splash screen and opening dialog box will follow that selection, but the dashboard, once logged in, still goes to the incorrect screen.

The other interesting part is that if I lock my computer for a while and then come back, the dashboard does seem to move to the desired screen once I unlock my computer.  Has anyone else seen this before or have any ideas on why my dashboard seems to show up differently at different times?

Reid,
What version of IADS are you using? For IADS 9.2.8 and newer the Dashboard can now be moved to the top of the monitor and also repositioned to other monitors (when their scaling is set to 100% otherwise the option is disabled).

Thank you,

Adam,

I am using 9.2.8 and was able to find where you can re-position the dashboard.  Yesterday when I was looking into this I must not have clicked in the right spot.  I still find it interesting that the monitor numbering that IADS is using doesn't match the monitor numbering that windows is using (i.e. windows monitor #4 is IADS monitor #1 and windows monitor #1 is IADS monitor #3), so because of that I will have to change the position every time I open a flight, but at least I have the ability to change it.

Thanks for your help.  If you have any other thoughts on things I can try to make the change permanent that would be appreciated, but this is better than not having that ability.
