I’m looking to change screens using a keystroke. Is it possible to switch to a specific tab or desktop using something like Shift+1, Shift+2, etc.?

Steven,

There are a number of ways that we offer to allow user input to change Analysis Windows.

  • For Pilot displays when the Desktop and Analysis Windows (AWs) are configured properly basic hand gestures from touch input work to change AWs.
  • For normal AWs hold down the Ctrl + Shift + Number to cycle between them. This is a newer feature so it will not work prior to IADS Version 9.4.X.
  • For older normal AWs there are Derived Functions to capture key events and use them to drive the IADS Action Object, which can then be used to Go to Window or Go To Tab.

So you were close with Shift+1,Shift+2, etc.; you just need to add Ctrl+Shift+1, …2,…3, etc. to bring up AW #1, 2, 3, etc. in the Dashboard list for that Desktop.

Thank you,
